Yarn Along

February 9, 2012

This week I am making a sweater for my youngest son, Chandler.  I had to rip it out twice, by about half each time, to get the right fit. At this point, I’m not really following this DROPS pattern but I hope to do the yoke in a similar style.  I love this Dream in Color Yarn.  The color is called Blue Lagoon.

I am also reading “The Naked Now” by Richard Rohr.  I’m enjoying this book, and I like knowing there are others who think like me.

Also, I’m reading about dualistic thinking in The Naked Now.  This is a good blog post about dualistic thinking.  I had not considered all this before –a name for it– but knew it and felt it.  It’s so hard for me to explain these concepts.  This is something to ponder.

I don’t get the commercial video. Did I miss something?

I love the color of the sweater. It’s one of my favorite colors along with purple and blueberry blue… love love love in that sweater!

Cori–Wordpress is now tacking video advertisements on the end of posts. It’s happening to my nature blog (http://leapinggreenlyspirits.wordpress.com), too. And sometimes they look really inappropriate. It’s very upsetting–and I don’t know how to get rid of them. :(

    BTW…congratulations on a sweater! Wow! I’m impressed!

I think we have to pay the annual fee to get rid of advertising. I don’t like that there is a video instead of the little ad. :/

And thanks, Jessica and Debby! I’ll post when it’s done. (or try to lol)
